Giannis Antetokounmpo will not play in the Bucks' game against the Heat on Sunday, the team confirmed.
After abruptly landing on his back following a contact with Kevin Love on a drive to the basket,
Antetokounmpo left Game 1 of the first-round series. The star forward left the game to use the lavatory,
came back with a wrap around his lower back with 9:56 left in the second quarter,
and finally checked back in before leaving the game permanently at 8:33.
Before getting hurt, Antetokounmpo recorded six points, three rebounds, and two made shots in 11 minutes of play.
The Heat and Bucks will play Game 2 in Milwaukee on Wednesday. NBA TV will air the start of the game at 9:00 p.m. ET.
